Oh, hi!

I’ve been so overwhelmed ingesting and being inspired by Taylor Swift’s latest album release.

I’ve loved listening to every word, watching the movie in theaters, staying up until 1 a.m. on the East Coast to listen to the album on repeat. Changing my favorite song every day — mostly still landing on Eldest Daughter, because yeah, I can relate.

She never ceases to amaze me with her ability to understand her audience and meet people where they are with every decision she makes.

I’ve always dreamed of making music videos, and I have to say that the music video for The Fate of Ophelia is just breathtaking. I loved watching the behind-the-scenes and nodding at every one of her creative choices, knowing that in some alternate universe we are cosmic Sagittarius sisters. I loved watching her direct and making choices at every turn that enhance her creative vision that starts with writing.

Because writing, knowing and finding your voice, creative expression, and storytelling are at the heart of all that is real and relatable in this world.

Relatable. Why can’t every city, every brand follow this lead?

Know who you are. Figure out how to connect with people through connection, understanding, and LIFE, LOVE, and JOY.

Nothing was better than taking my teenage daughters to see the Eras Tour, celebrating this album release, and then being with them to see the movie for the first time.

What a great time to be alive as Taylor Swift. (And in two weeks to have the Bruce Springsteen biopic hit theaters!)

She is the ultimate queen of branding and storytelling. Taking Bruce’s lead. Shouldn’t we all.

An admiring and aspiring showgirl,
—Dana
